Four of the top six high school girls high jumpers in the country are scheduled to compete Friday at the 91st Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, all seeking the first 6-foot clearance of their careers.

New Balance Nationals Indoor champion Anna Hall of Valor Christian CO, USATF Hershey Youth indoor national gold medalist Annika Williams of College Station TX, national outdoor leader Rachel Glenn of Long Beach Wilson CA and 2016 Texas Relays winner Sanaa Barnes of Northwest Nelson TX lead one of the deepest high jump fields in meet history.

Falyn Reaugh of Dallas Highland Park TX became the fourth female athlete in meet history to clear 6 feet (1.83m) last year to equal the Texas Relays girls high school record. Shenell Searcy of Ennis TX (1989), Erin Aldrich of Lake Highlands TX (1996) and Destinee Hooker of San Antonio Southwest TX (2005) also achieved the feat since the event was added to the meet schedule in 1987.

Reaugh was one of four prep athletes last season to clear 6 feet.

Glenn, who took over the national lead with a 5-11 (1.80m) clearance March 17 at the California Relays, is attempting to become the third California athlete to win the Texas Relays girls high jump, joining Chaunte Lowe of J.W. North in 2001 and Camilla Dencer of Louisville in 2006.

Hall, who has a personal-best 5-10.50 (1.79m) indoor clearance from last year's New Balance Nationals, opened her outdoor season Saturday with a 5-10 (1.78m) effort at the 78th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational in Arizona. No Colorado athlete has won the girls high jump title at Texas Relays.

Williams cleared 5-10 on March 3 at the Bryan Viking Relays, with Barnes matching her outdoor best March 8 with a 5-10 effort at the Guyer Wildcat Relays. Barnes won the Texas Relays high jump two years ago by clearing 5-7.50 (1.72m) and is looking to become the fourth athlete to capture multiple girls titles.

Texas prep athletes have won the 11 past girls high jump competitions at Texas Relays.
